In last June，Xinyue received a new enquiry of 18M ERW steel pipes with flanges from our regular client for slurry transmission project in Australia. After several months of bidding, design changes and price updates, the project finally made good progress in last Dec. The end user had verbally awarded the project to our client, but it still needs about a week to confirm the specific technical terms and contract details.
The order finally awarded in middle December as predicated, but it only leave us less than 45 days for production and inspection process, which is very tight for the production schedule of 18-meter welded pipe. Xinyue procurement Department purchased raw materials immediately after received the client’s official PO before Chinese New Year Holiday, and coordinate the production schedule in the first time to meet the client’s delivery requirements. The logistics Department also contacted the long-term cooperative ship line as soon as possible and confirmed that the earliest shipping space of ETD mid-Feb. With the cooperation of the elite departments, we believe that we will be able to successfully execute this order at the end. The client also believes that if anyone can help them to successfully execute this project, it must be Xinyue steel.
