The process and working principle of steel tie rods:

1. Application:

Steel tie rods are often used in connecting sheet piles, bridges, stadium buildings, etc.:

Steel tie rods form an integrated structure by connecting and fixing two structural bodies with threaded rods, enhancing the stability and load-bearing capacity of the overall structure. Tie rods can effectively distribute and transfer loads, preventing lateral displacement or overturning of the building.

2.Processing technology:

(1) Material preparation and batching

Raw materials: High-strength steel (such as Q355B, Q460, GRADE700) is adopted to ensure impact resistance and corrosion resistance.

Surface treatment materials: Zinc-rich primer (≥85μm) or galvanized.

(2) Processing and Manufacturing Process

Cutting and blanking: Use laser/plasma cutting machines to precisely cut raw materials (steel bars, steel plates, steel pipes, etc.) to ensure that the dimensions meet the requirements of the drawings.

Thread turning: Turn external threads on the ends of the cut steel bars for the main body of the tie rods; turn internal threads on the cut steel pipes as connecting parts.

Drilling: Drill holes in the cut steel plates to form connecting parts, and drill holes in the flattened ends of the steel bars, which can be connected by bolts and nuts.

Surface treatment: Apply zinc-rich primer (≥85μm) or galvanize the surface.

Assembly accessories (as required): Bolts and nuts.

3.Working Principle:

The steel tie rods connect and fix two structural bodies into an integrated structure through threaded rods, enhancing the stability and load-bearing capacity of the overall structure. The tie rods can effectively distribute and transfer loads, preventing lateral displacement or overturning of the building structure. One end of the steel tie rods is fixed to the front sheet pile wall (steel sheet piles), and the other end is fixed to the rear anchor piles, forming a stable mechanical structure that can effectively resist horizontal loads and lateral soil pressure, ensuring the stability of the sheet pile wall.
