Recently, Xinyue Steel successfully completed the delivery of two high-specification orders for its long-term European clients with years of cooperation.

From the customized production of large-diameter thin-walled pipes, to the double coatings that both exceed international standards, and to the two-year-long project follow-up — this is not only a reflection of product strength, but also the implementation of the long-termism service philosophy.

I.Two Years of Follow-up, One Successful Delivery

From the initial inquiry to the official order placement, the whole process took exactly two years. During this period, the specifications of the client’s project were adjusted several times. The Xinyue team always provided full coordination, promptly updated technical solutions and put forward project suggestions in response to every change. II. Large Diameter & Thin Wall: The Tougher the Task, the More Outstanding the Craftsmanship

Both orders involved large-diameter and thin-walled spiral pipes. The product requirements imposed high standards on process control, which were difficult for conventional production lines to meet. The Xinyue team promptly organized a special review, formulated detailed plans for key processes including forming, welding, straightening and sizing, and arranged production in strict accordance with customized standards. Xinyue has always adhered to the principle: fully advance production in line with project requirements, and ensure that all deliveries meet the contractual specifications.

III. Exceeding Standards: Xinyue Meets Strict Anti-corrosion Requirements

Anti-corrosion Requirement for Order 1: Internal and External Hot-dip Galvanization, with Minimum Zinc Coating Thickness Far Surpassing the Regular Standard

The order specified hot-dip galvanization for both internal and external surfaces, requiring that the zinc coating thickness at any measuring point should be no less than 120μm, which is far higher than the regular standard. Yishengchang Galvanizing, the in-house galvanizing plant of Xinyue Group, adjusted the process parameters specifically for this order.Ultimately, third-party testing showed that the minimum zinc coating thickness reached over 130μm and the maximum exceeded 200μm. Both the internal and external surfaces were uniform and smooth without any missing plating defects, successfully passing the special appearance inspection.

Anti-corrosion Requirements for Order 2: Internal FBE Coating + External Polyurethane Coating, Meeting Drinking Water Grade Standards

The steel pipes are applied to water transportation. The internal coating is required to be 300μm fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE), complying with the AWWA C213 drinking water grade standard; the external coating is 800μm polyurethane, conforming to the AWWA C222 standard.

Xinyue strictly controlled the spraying temperature, curing time and film thickness to ensure that the internal coating was continuous, dense and free of pinholes, while the external coating boasted excellent mechanical protection performance. All anti-corrosion processing was completed within 5 working days and passed the inspection in one go.
