In September 2023, we received an inquiry from a client in Azerbaijan, a country in the Caucasus region, for steel grades under Russian standards. The client mentioned that this was for a tender for SOCAR’s oil transportation project.
Given that Xinyue steel has extensive experience with Russian standards and holds a series of relevant certificates, we provided product images, technical data, and associated certificates for each item in the initial quotation. Over the course of the six-month bidding period, we maintained close communication with the client, providing real-time updates on the latest market trends. In March 2024, we assisted the client in successfully securing the tender, and in April of the same year, we reached a cooperation agreement with them.
In accordance with the project’s technical requirements, all products were manufactured and processed strictly in line with Russian standards, from raw material procurement to production processes. Regarding transportation, Xinyue actively cooperated with the railway transportation requirements, ensuring proper packaging and site reinforcement. As of now, all products have been produced, inspected, and shipped.
