At the beginning of March 2023, Tianjin Xinyue Steel received an inquiry from our long-standing Malaysian customer for steel plates for offshore platforms. The steel grade S420G1+M/S355G7+M/S355G8+M, with specification of 3436 * 12020 * 50mm, 49 pieces in total, 800 tons around.
The customer’s behavior style has always been efficient. This contract took only 3 weeks from inquiry to confirmation of order, during which the customer updated their quantity requirements 3-4 times. At the same time, both parties clarified and confirmed deviations from various technical details. Tianjin Xinyue was able to respond promptly before the deadline provided by the customer each time.
Our primary objective and mission is to meet customer stringent expectation and satisfactions based on the services and products offered, with emphasis on quality products, accurate logistics, timely delivery, quality certification, cost competitiveness and responsiveness to changing requirements.
All goods were produced under the witness of the third party designated by the customer, and passed Chemical composition inspection, mechanical property inspection, bending test, -40 degree impact toughness inspection, stress effectiveness inspection, UT flaw detection, CTOD crack tip opening displacement test, Z-direction performance inspection, and final product appearance and size inspection.
At present, all goods have been shipped and are expected to arrive at the destination port by the end of June.
