At the end of April 2021, Xinyue received an inquiry from our regular customer in the Middle East, the customer is a local EPC. The product is API 5L PSL2 GR BN seamless pipe with 3LPE coating on the outer surface. The end user of this project is one of oil company in Libya, and the pipe is applied for oil transportation. Xinyue has successfully supplied many oil pipeline projects of similar size, after receiving the inquiry, we submitted the sample MTC, ITP and QCP as well as relevant shipping experience to the customer and end user for review. The technical data was approved by the customer soon. However, due to the epidemic, the project was put on hold for a while, until the middle of October 2022 the end user finally confirmed the project, and the customer quickly signed a contract with Xinyue and arranged the advance payment.
This order was supervised by the third party designated by the end user. In the production process of more than two months, from the raw materials, pipe production and coating processing all passed the inspection of the third party smoothly. At present, all the goods are ready for shipment at the port, which is expected to sail to Libya around April 10th. The customer has a new seamless pipe project this year and plans to visit our company recently. We believe that we will have another cooperation soon.
