The customer is a supplier of equipment for oil and gas projects from Malaysia, it is a stock order. This is the first time for the customer to cooperate with Xinyue. Xinyue received the inquiry at the end of August, and it only took one month to confirm the order, it means the customer’s full trust in Xinyue.
During the quotation period, there was another supplier from Cangzhou who competed with Xinyue. The customer informed that the price of Xinyue’s was much higher than this supplier. After discussed with customer , Xinyue confirmed that the price was for malleable cast iron couplers, while Xinyue supplied galvanized drop forged couplers to match the galvanized pipes. Different materials and quality assurance, the price is different. But Xinyue also provided with a low cost solution of malleable cast iron couplers + steel pipe with red paint for reference. After comparison, the customer finally chose the first galvanized solution, and said that quality is the first guarantee of the order.
The order has already passed the final inspection and we plan to ship by middle or end of October.
