فيبروري ۾ 2026, Xinyue Steel Group supplied two batches of SSAW steel pipes to the Singapore Land Transport Authority (LTA) for the construction of 60km cycling paths for central region including Bukit Merah, Kallang, Queenstown, and city area.This project is a part of the 1,300km Islandwide Cycling Network (ICN) by 2030, focus on connecting homes to MRT stations and amenities.
This project was undertaken by a long-established local EPC contractor in Singapore, which primarily undertakes road engineering works for government projects and usually prefers to cooperate with local suppliers. Xinyue began communicating with the client in August 2025. After numerous conference calls, the client was deeply impressed by Xinyue’s corporate platform strength and project experience, and finally decided to place order to Xinyue in October 2025.
The client requested self-adhesive bituminous membrane be applied to the surface of the steel pipes. بهرحال, by the time the production of pipes were finished, it was already winter in China. The low temperature environment significantly reduced the adhesion performance of the bituminous membrane. Xinyue’s technical team responded swiftly. Through sample testing, they successfully achieved 100% adhesion of the asphalt membrane at -5°C, with excellent resistance to peeling.
During the execution of the order, Xinyue strictly adhered to the contractual delivery schedule, overcame the challenges of winter processing, and completed the delivery of the two batches on time. آخرڪار, all products arrived smoothly in Singapore in February 2026 and passed the client’s inspection. This has laid a solid foundation for Xinyue to undertake future government infrastructure projects in Singapore and contributed to the infrastructure development of Singapore.
